are you a real skoda enthusiast or are you here because the car was cheap and easy to tune? or you just dont really care?

i have to say im a skoda freak! anything skoda i like alot.

I bought a Skoda because I was fed up of my Renault (spit) being unreliable. It's cheap to run and that's all I want. I like the other cars, every single model has something good going for it. Doesn't mean I'll buy one though.

Errr what do you think?

Errr what do you think?

no?

 I'm a Skoda nut through and through. I love the old rear engined ones in particular, and I really can't imagine life without one of these special old heaps!! Cost was not ever an issue either, I could have have bought far more modern cars with the money I've spent on my dear old cars. My Mk2 Rapid which I've restored cost me over

I bought my Octavia vRS because little else could mtach the performance, practicality and price

I bought a Furby diesel because I needed something cheaper to run than my Passat. Coming from a Passat to a Furby I expected to be a big downfall, but the little Skoda has genuinely suprised me - the ride is good, handling reasonable and the comfort in the back I'm told is good too.

As for running costs . . . twice the mpg, 1/3 the insurance and £50 less tax. :)

I bought furby Mk1 on the basis of a good write-up, and recent award wins. Didn't touch it for 2 years - really liked it from the start though, and over now... oooh, hell! FIVE years, I'm definitely a NUT!

I like my Octy vRS but I am no Skoda nut, it's a good car but it does have it's flaws liek other marques. I plan (at the moment) to either replace it with a Focus St or a DC5 Integra Type R.

I'm on my 3rd Skoda (Felicia, Fabia TDI, Fabia vRS) simply because the original logic - affordable quality - still holds true.

3 years ago we were looking for a cheap Diesel that could last 4 years/160000 miles to replace the Vectra (YUCK, HEAP ETC ETC). We ended up with an Octy L&K Estate & I ended up getting a 4x4 to replace my Impreza

Both have been great cars & far better than the vehicles they replaced

I only became interested in the Skoda brand after the VW takeover and following the launch of the Octy vRS. I fell in the love with the car and very nearly traded-in my Racing Puma for a black demonstrator. Went for a VX220 instead!

The birth of our son last year deemed the VX220 inpractical so finally bought a vRS and love it to bits.

I really respect the Skoda brand and product range but would only consider myself to be a vRS enthusiast (at the moment).

If that makes sense?!

Ditto. It is a great car!

'Skoda' (as in the Communist-era company)don't really exist any more. It's a division of the mighty VAG, which is no bad thing! I doubt I'd have bought an old Estelle as a daily driver.....

I'm on my 5th Skoda :D .................the wife's on her 3rd :) .........Rock on:thumbup:

I'm a complete convert to Skoda. Mind you nothing has dropped off yet!!

Got my furby down to rents both having skodas... sensible choice really had to have the cars matching on the drive, should of all gone for one colour too!

At the time , nothing else could compete with the price I paid for my octy (or even 2k above what I paid). It's been an excellent car and I'd like another skoda , though I'm not ruling out other vehicles just yet

My first choice was a Golf but the prices are stupid and I've heard the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I read the write up of the Fabia vrs and then found this forum, the rest as they say is history.

Time will tell (8 weeks now  ) if I will get another one.

Had lots of cars.Skoda is the first brand that hasn't annoyed me.

Another convert (Till I can afford an RS4)
