Any Good PCH deals on Superb Estate Cars?

Featured Replies

I've been looking at switching sometime in the next 6 months from an Octavia Estate to the new Superb Estate, probably diesel with something like the SE Business Nav spec or better, just wondering if anyone knows any particularly good deals? I don't do a huge mileage these days, so diesel isn't an absolute must have, just something that I've been used to, sat nav would be nice and heated seats too, other than that nothing really set in stone.

My Octavia is just on 23000 miles and won't be three years old until October but my options as to what to do with it are kind of limited as it is on a PCP deal which seems destined to be forever in negative equity. PCH seems a more attractive proposition than PCP as you know exactly what you're getting and I'm kind of reluctant to borrow the money that I would need to buy the Octavia at the end of the PCP, especially as a local dealer informed me that currently it would cost me money to trade that car in, even though it is in mint condition but I can hand it back around September/ October, kind of sad that even a Skoda dealer doesn't want it.  So no more PCP deals for me after this!

Simpsons were the offering the best PCH deal when I was looking.

I managed to get our local dealer to price match.

The SE L Exec has some very nice toys - I love the DSG & ACC combination.

I'm sure the more knowledgeable guys here will have other suggestions soon.

You might need to wait until next week as most PCH deal prices are set Quarterly and expired last night

Most companies haven't yet published their new rates for July-Sept

Try using some comparison sites eg Parkers, ContractHireAndLeasing.com etc then filter with a max price

Occasionally one company seems to have specials where price is less than a lower spec car

If you know which particular manufacturer and model you want I always use http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/ as a starting point, it doesn't cover everybody in the game but most. I'm always amazed at the range of prices it brings up they can differ by up to £50+ a month which over the length of the deal can be a heck of a lot of money. The filters work well allowing you to set the user personal or business, term 2-4 years, max deposit and monthly payment then you can approach the agent by e-mail always works well for me. I've used it for my last 4 cars absolutely no problems. I picked up a SE Business Hatch on a 3+47 month deal at £252 per month incl vat, the best deal I could find at the time. It included the extras of metallic paint, sunroof, towbar, canton sounds and reversing camera. I ordered back in Nov 2015 and the car was delivered March 2016, the base deal I think was around £220 a month. But as mentioned earlier prices are set quarterly and it looks like they have now gone up. Good luck.
