Non maxidot digital mph display

Featured Replies

Ok so to confirm from a post on here. Mph can be displayed by changing my dash unit to Australia with carista. U then turn your trip reset button till the kph flashes and press it to change to center display. This is in mph. But i think it sets the units to US gallons as my avg consumption went to 40 from 45 as soon as i changed it and goes back to normal a soon as you change back to uk. So question is now once in Australia setting can US gallons be changed to uk gallons via vcds?

Run for 2 days now in Australia setting and definitely showing lower mpg. Any ideas anyone ?

On my pre facelift with a maxidot screen i have the option to change between us and UK mpg.

Is there something similar on the facelift?

There is for the FL Maxodot, not sure if it's possible to change on a non-maxidot.

Sure, I was just confirming that it's definitely possible on a FL maxidot so it might be on a FL non-maxidot :)

Not unless theres a way with vcds. Im sure you can trim the mpg display with vcds but never done it and i would hate to mess it up completely lol. So not sure if that would work or not.

Yes, you can adjust the MPG via VCDS, it's done as a percentage though an adaption channel. I believe the min/max is 85% and 115% so not enough to make up for the difference between US and UK MPG.

Best bet it to plug VCDS in and inspect the adaption channels to see what there is :)
