I have a 2006 Pre FL octavia vRS.

 

This button is located next to the drivers side seat on the lower section of the B pillar

 

What does it do?

Disables the alarm temporarily I believe.

Turns off some of the alarm functions to allow you to leave a moving object such as the wife, kids, pet in the car after you lock it with the remote.

Ahh thanks for clearing that up....when do you know if its on or off?

 

Does this mean I can lock the wife in the car and have the lads over for the footy and the car alarm wont go off?

This new piece of information could come in very handy 

 You press it before you lock it and the interior sensor is disabled. The next time you lock it it will work as normal.

 

I think this also disables the tilt sensor as well so you can jack your car up or tow it away with it locked

Turns off the internal motion sensors.

 

All other inputs remain active.

 

Press the button (it changes colour) then lock the car as normal.

 

Good for travelling on ferries etc.

There's usually some dumbass in the ownership chain that loses it, probably because they can't read and there's not enough colourful pictures in it to hold their attention!
