Hi guys i have the 2.0 tdi BKD it seems to lose a lot fuel while just on idle you can actually see the gauge dropping and also my miles till fill up goes down really quick from 180 miles of 20 liters to 160 down to 110 in a couple of miles also im getting about 120 miles form 20 litres of fuel which seems bad for a diesel as my petrol would do about 110. anyone know whats up with it? i have just got my maf and egr cleaned i also have an vagcom to check for issues but nothing has shown up apart from the ABS Issue which should be getting sorted out by the dealers.

have you had the injectors tested? VAG have been having issues with the siemens injectors on the diesel engines over the last few years, certainly worth having a balance test done via the leak offs. Any excessive black smoke from the exhaust?

easy  . Check fuel leakage first.   check so you brakes is not hot :sun:  after driving around... if bad injectors check for black smoke, let someone drive in a care after you while you drive like schumacher. 

check and compare outside.temp vs. engine temp. sensor. vs cool water vs fuel temp. sensor.   (use somekind of obd reader, works with those cheap connected to phone) 

it could also be the airmass sensor...  does the car start cold vs hot the same? easy to start?..
