Time for a change......

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've currently got a 2012 BMW E90 318D M Sport, which has not missed a beat to be honest and drives brilliantly. I am finding that it just isn't big enough for me anymore, which becomes more apparent when trying to get the not so little puppy (an 11 month old, 30KG black labrador) around and also taking the bike anywhere.

As such, I'm looking for something new. My budget, after the trade in and the approximate value of my current car (around £7K), plus £5K I will have, brings me to the £12K mark, with the potential for me to increase this a little bit.

I have always had a soft spot for the Octavia VRS, and I must admit I have fallen in love with the newer shape models (2014+). I am going to have a look at one tomorrow, is there anything I should be mindful or aware of? I am after an automatic gearbox with the diesel engine.

I cannot say I wont miss the BMW, but I'm hoping the VRS can offer me something better :)

Thanks guys :)
