Service vrs tfsi

Featured Replies

When I bought my Octavia I had a 15month warranty from auto guard which as the car was low mileage qualified for maximum level of protection so I usually service my cars myself as I used to work in a garage but decided to take out a skoda service plan so I didn't void my warranty anyway I had my last service in the plan today which was a minor service and it doesn't look like the oil filter was changed as its still covered in dust oil looks cleaner though is the filter supposed to be changed on a minor service? I did change the oil and filter myself between skoda services with a Mann branded filter so I could check

I'm no expert but if they're changing the oil, surely it's common sense to put on a new filter aswell.
