Fuel Filter big/ small

Featured Replies

I cant remember for the life of me

Fab Vrs, 53 plate...

My 07 vRS had a small one fitted but when replacing it I fitted a larger one (had to remove the basket for it to fit).

I got the smaller one this time, part number from TPS 6Q0127400H if this helps.

oh so both fit, ive also seen the large one with a drain port on the bottom.. this opie oils suggests this.

I when for large one with out this port i think its a crosslands one from euros

From my experience, they both fit and work fine.

If you've got a large one from the factory stick with it as fitting a smaller one would just mean its hanging in the holder and will wear down the pipes.

There are two size plastic baskets which correspond with either filter both clip straight into the metal holder, so yes both fit but as said before without the basket they just float about hanging on the fuel lines. Interestingly last time I bought one the smaller one was dearer than the big one????

I did mine a few months ago and can't remember which I fitted...
