Ok so I've got "TP" switched off but I'm still getting the traffic announcements through the speakers which potentially could be useful, problem is they only warn of traffic jams when I'm already sat in them..... I can't find the option to switch these off, any ideas?

Might be a long shot, I don't have built in sat Nav but can have TP switched on/off Via the Radio.

 

Does the sat nav have it's own TP button in the set up menu ?

In the DAB setup there is an option for Traffic Announcements, separate from the real button on the front.

There's traffic announcements option under advanced ok the DAB but it's ticked and greyed out so I can't untick it....

I can't find any other options anywhere, even under NAV

Have you tried ticking the dab announcement box, it might then allow you to unstick the TP

I can't as its greyed out, I have the TP switched its the DAB announcements I can't turn off

Resurrecting an old post, but is there an answer to this as I have the same issue.

The satnav also has traffic advice announcements on the Amundsen even if TP is switched off. Check in nav settings
