Set a date, add it to the calendar. You won't get everyone to agree to a date ahead of time. There is always something that will clash for someone

 

If it's a frequent thing people will begin to set aside time and the ball will be rolling.

when i had a old mini 7-8 years ago we had a good group of 10 ish cars obviously driver plus their partner or friend came along good mix boys and girls.

first we started going on monthly meets  to a pub on a sunday night then rolled in to summer drive outs mini show's our biggest was starting at newcastle drove down to london did ace cafe and few bits before going on to kent southern mini show camping etc. Was great only few of us have minis now but we are all still friends.

Id be game for a meet like.

I've just bought an Octavia VRS, I'm from Ashington so would definitely be up for some of the north east meets!
