As the title says, I found a supplier on eBay for the heat shield Spring clip washers for VAG cars.

This is the item number, 322105272379. Oh, if you have a mk2 octy, you might want to check if the small heat shield is still on the rear subframe where the exhaust goes over the top of it. I only found mine loose when I could hear a rattling sound when I closed the boot.

I've taken to replacing any looking dodgy before they let go--have to say that my 6-7 year old skoda ones arn't lasting as well as my 13 year old seat ones did    ten mm socket and a small hammer make good fitting tools
