Hi there, new to forum but have owned my Roomster since November, and I love it!

I am having problems with the boot latch, its not catching correctly, which leads to the light on the dash coming on as an open door. Is this a common problem and are there any hints/ or quick fixes?

Hi D and welcome to Briskoda.

 

A few on here have reported this problem, myself included on a 2009 Scout.

The hint/quick fix is to close the tailgate rather more firmly than you might expect!

I had this problem turned out window wipers were leaking into the boot lock and broken wire for rear wiper got wiper fixed problem solved
