BWA CCZA coil pack

Featured Replies

Hi All

Just a quick question to those in the know. Euro car parts have a 30% sale on today ending at midnight. Looked at coil packs and the ones shown for my car when I input my reg are for the BWA engine. Trouble is, my engine code is CCZA. Are both engine coil packs the same? £92.37 for a set of 4 Bosch coils seems a good price with the discount.

Same coils mate.

Thanks gazpot, went ahead anyway and ordered them from their website on the day of the sale. Picked them up and fitted them last night.

Should of fitted the R8 coil packs from AKS 89.99

From various reviews the consensus is they are no better than standard ones. Pretty red tops does not sway my decision, especially as I have the plastic cover over the top of the engine, covering up the coil packs anyway. If there was a bigger difference in price than just a couple of pounds, maybe the R8 coils would have been my choice.

Euro car parts have some good promotion specials and savings which are good for stocking up on consumables and service items.

I dislike their own sku / product codes they use as they often don't quote oem part numbers or cross references.  It makes it so hit and miss for parts.

Their description for compatibility are often incomplete (like you mentioned coil packs for BWA engine).   Their registration search for my car on things like brakes was misleading in the extreme, there wasn't even an option shown for the 272mm bosch rears on my car.  Had to go to the bosch website and get part numbers and cross reference with after market suppliers products.
