Anti-spin light on, where is the sensor?

Featured Replies

Hello!

I recently had a fuel leak in my engine compartment, that made diesel spill all over. I fixed the leak and thats OK.
But now, when I drive for about 5 minutes, the antispin light turns on. I dont know why. Maybe the sensor got some diesel on it. Does anyone know where the sensor is located? OR maybe someone know a solution if the sensor is not the answer?

thank you

It'll use the ABS sensors.

On Mk1 Fabias this light comes on 10 minutes after you set off if the load signal (DFM) wire from the alternator is broken. May be worth trying to follow any thin signal wiring from your alt, looking for dangling broken wires? A two-pin connector plug/skt pair on a bracket on the front of the gearbox is the usual place to find such breakage on Fabias.

I remember when my Fabia vRS fuel filter sprung a leak, diesel went over the right front tyre and wheelspun and locked up at every junction.
