Driver Profile Mode /Eco /normal / sport not always working.....

Video example below..

As you can see the button goes orange to white when pressed as it should.... But nothing on screen or top left corner.

Works again after a full car shutdown once all modules have gone to sleep....

Happened around 5 times now...

Anyone else had this ??

Worked as expected this morning..

Anyone else had this ?

Not much help... just to say "No".

I hate these threads. I read them and think "That's not happened to me", then I get in the car and...boom!

Yes, several times. Always resets after the car has gone to sleep!

The system failed completely a week after I bought the car and that was blamed on part of the electronics still being in 'transport mode'. No way that is still the case. Rear dampers now starting to make nasty noises too! Warranty visit upcoming methinks.

Haha I was just thinking the same before I read your post Alex. :D Another no from me Rick, get it booked in.

Happened a couple of times. Quickest way to reset is keep the power button for columbus pressed for 30 seconds to reset the system.

This post is from Taitie but was inadvertently 'reported' instead of being 'posted'.

I have a 2,0 diesel4x4 140 kW wagon/estate .
Now I love the car but electronically it's getting bad.
Ride/handling/phone perfect.
Issues- tail gate opens -twice now, transmission goes into sports mode by itself 3 occasions-immobiliser non start, gearbox light, started itself, drive wouldn't engage twice,Apple play issue, seat changes position when I open door twice.adblue reading poor. Dealer is excellent and it going in Friday.
Some faults showed up others not.I have some videoed.Ironically I love it so will report back 12000kilometres.

Any updates on this? My mk3 Superb doesn't want to open the driving modes menu ever, and it doesn't get better after leaving it overnight or reseting the head unit
