Hi guys I am really in hurry so sorry if I didn't check forum if there's a topic already.

 

Today when I was waiting on traffic light. Strange sound came for 3 sec, then my parking sensors turned on and front one had exclamation sign in those "waves", also sensor button flashed.

 

Reading the owners manual I turns out I have system fault and now my front parking sensors are not working, rear are fine.

 

There is no damage to sensors nor did I hit anything.

 

Is it possible this i just connection problem or some software bug? I would like to avoid going to stealers.

 

Anyone had this problem? Much appreciated for any help!

Since no one replied. I went to my mechanic after 2 weeks of posting this topic. He had some I guess VCDS for MK2 he hooked it up, there was few error logs some front individual sensors, some ground problems not working or something I don't remember now. But he was busy and told me to book me for next week, which is now and it passed.  But it's obvious there's some connection problem since there is no damage on sensors. Now we have to find time to strip off front bumper and check the connections.

possibly one just got wet, mine has had this problem in the past, when it dried out all was well.
