Featured Replies

I'm new to VCDS so be gentle!

Im trying to enable lane assist on my MY16 SEL with TSR but having no luck / lack of understanding.

First off I tried the guide here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/368574-vcds-options-on-superb-iii/page-21#entry4686178

Lane assist activated in my Superb MY17  (VCDS 16.8.0)  :)

STG 17 > Codierung > Byte 4 > Bit 6 - aktivieren ("Spurhalteassistent/Lane Assist aktivieren")

STG 17 > Codierung > Byte 11 > Bit 1 - aktivieren ("Spurhalteassistent/Lane Assist Information BAP verbaut aktivieren")

STG A5 > Codierung > Byte 16 > Bit 7 - aktivieren

STG A5 (Front-/Vorfeldkamera) auswählen
STG Zugriffsberechtigung -> Funktion 16
Zugriffscode 20103 eingeben

STG F5
-umcodiert (ADP-(49)-Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-LDW_HCA_0x19) von nicht aktiviert auf aktiviert
-umcodiert (ADP-(21)-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_Lane_Departure_Warning) von nicht aktiviert auf aktiviert
-umcodiert (ADP-(23)-Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_Lane_Departure_Warning_over_threshold_high) von nicht aktiviert auf aktiviert

STG 44 > Codierung > Byte 3 > Bit 0 - aktivieren ("Spurhalteassistent HCA verbaut")

I can follow this up to "STG A5 (Front-/Vorfeldkamera) auswählen"

I get that this is still in A5 but its not coding? Can someone please explain where I can locate what I need to do for the lines below this one?

I also found a guide here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/380299-lane-assist-activation-via-vcds/?hl=%2Blane+%2Bassist#entry4698889

I was going to try doing the coding this way, but it appears that there are more changes than the first method.

Also when I add my coding to the mix, address 44: steering assist really confuses me, I only have 2 bytes?

This is the coding posted above above, I've just formatted it to try and make it clearer to me and added mine in. As you can see mine differs significantly but I guess that's to be expected with different spec / options etc. However its 44 that I really don't get as the change is in a byte I don't have. It's not even the binary long code as that has 14 digits, mine only 8.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Bump,

Anyone able to help please?

i'd suggest registering on the Ross-Tech forum. They helped me out when i had trouble with tow-bar coding on my 2016 superb. if you have a legit VCDS/Vagcom then its free to use. http://forums.ross-tech.com/forum.php
