Now that i have a digital camera I thought i show you my new toy. Can't believe how much fuel petrol cars use after spending nearly 2 years with fabia Vrs economy. However this thing makes me smile more and nothing has dropped off it to date :confused: . If cash permitted, I would have kept the Vrs for day to day use

If you guys dont mind, I'd like to come along to one of the Briskoda track day events this year. Is Bruntingthorpe happening again this year?

I am confused:confused: I can see the pics on my PC and i assume Jane can see them too.

Can someone point me in the direcion of instruction for posting pics if i have got it all wrong. The images are being hosted by a kodak gallery site i use.

Thanks Jon , thought the digital age had got the better of me. I've only just worked out how to get pics on to the PC so adding them to a forum thread is a major achievment for an aging technophobe. I am desperatley trying to keep up with technology...

Its the standard 182 engine 2.0 16v (no turbo) but the big feature is the sachs race suspension. Evo claim 60 in 6.5 secs and 140mph top speed. It was Evos car of the year 2005. Even Mr Clarkson ravvd about the handling characteristics. Oh and its got great big Recaro seats too to keep your internal organs in place when chucking around the twisties.

anyone had a low powered clio (1.2 16v- 1.4 16v) and moved up to a 182?

I had a 1.2 16v and if I bought the 182 im soo sure I would have been soo bored with the looks and interior as they are soo similar.

Bought a brand new Clio 1.9 RLD in '93 did 67,000 miles only thing that went wrong was the radiator bursting at 55,000 miles. Must have been a rouge car:D

Hello - I'm new here(mdk1 knows who I am) - just thought i'd pop my fourpenneth in regarding any other make of car. Including Renaults.

They are not relevant. Skodas are without doubt the best car you can buy on the road today if you want value for money. My wife has a Felicia diesel and compared to her previous car it is incredible. Never misses a beat and returns 50-odd mpg which for a Felicia is amazing.

Sorry to get on my soap box so early on but I felt it needed saying.
