SIL has a Dot. Its a novelty, but i really dont like the idea of having Amazon listening to everything that goes on in my house..

Bad enough having google and microsoft do that in my pocket already.. via the phones..

    I was certainly tempted by the Echo just to have something like Star Trek but the more I thought about it, the more I realised I prefer just using my phone for that sort of thing as I don't use Google
