Cost effective Colour Laser recomendations

Anybody have any tip top colour laser printer recommendations?

Ideally cheap and cheerfull, but not so cheap I end up scrapping it in one year as it's broke down.

Duplex and colour, not too fussed about ppm asI can leave it on over night to do it's run. Not fussed about A3, don't have the footprint space anyway.

Duplex is a must though, good colour reproductin, but not photo quality; have my inkjet for that ;)

Any ideas and of course if you know a man who can at the right price ;)

Oh and network ready would be preferred.

Epson C1100N is a great printer, I think you can get a Duplex unit for it, but that will nearly double the price!

Stay away from anything Konica/Minolta.

I just ordered an HP 4650DN, slightly over a grand from mainzone.co.uk. In fact they have most printers much cheaper than their competition. The D is for duplex, N for network, T adds another couple of print trays. Cheaper without the D and N. Toners from the same people about £75black £100colour.

epson or oki

im running oki 5450dn... uber beast but not that cheap.

:iagree:

I used to have access to a Minolta Magicolour 2200 (or was it 2300?). Quality was poor and it was always asking for something or other to be replaced.

We use an Epson C1100 at work - fine printer, also network ready not sure about duplex though.

4,000 page toner life -- 4 seperate units 268 quid to replace all at once or about 65quid each.
