Ready to buy new Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

I'm ready to order a new Fabia VRS for delivery early April and the best price I have is

Welcome to Briskoda

Look into my eyes :orb_hypno Silver is the colour you are looking for :orb_hypno

Try some of your local delaers, or indeed some farther afield to see if they'll match the prices for you. Some good deals to be had for a bit or bartering I would think

Sounds like a good price to me, no experience of the company but welcome to briskoda anyway:)

Sounds good but try your local dealer and see if they can match it, after all if it's a UK car it's come from a dealer in the first place.

Listen to jonny5ive, get a silver one, black is far too common and hard to clean!

Hope the Drivethedeal isn't using a part ex.

I got offered

You should still get the 3 years AA from drivethedeal as they are UK-dealer sourced.

Thanks for all the advice. Checked with autofinders as suggested and they have quoted -1 x Skoda Fabia vRS 1.9 Tdi Pd 130bhpUK Main Skoda Franchised dealer supplied vehicle

36 Month Skoda UK Manufacturers warranty

36 Month AA UK assist package

12 months road fund licence

Government 1st registration fee

Metallic paint Option £280

Xenon Headlights £500

Total price of £11,195

That seems unlikely to be bettered!

Are you sure £11195 included your options scotsmac, when I was looking on their site that was the price advertised for the bog standard car, slightly dearer than drive the deal. Good luck in your purchase, and let me know how you get on, I am looking to order myself once my damned leg is right. cheers

The Autofinders cars are all pre-registered so it depends if that bothers you.

Well spotted, postmanpat! The invoice price is

I bought mine from Drivethedeal. Excellent guys. Well recommended.

Pre-registered really means the dealer is the 1st owner of the vehicle' date=' and you would be the second if you bought it.

It knocks a bit of money off the resale value of the car![/quote']

WRONG

this does not affect the value of the car at all. If the dealer has it from 10 miles on the clock and hands over to you with still 10 miles on the clock. They have covered 0 miles.

There also would be only a matter of days between the 1st and 2nd owner.

This is a misunderstanding in the trade!

I disagree that it doesnt reduce the value of the car by having an extra ownership. but I fought the urge to write it in capitals to make me feel more superior than I actually am.

I got a quote from my local dealer of £1240 against £11975 from Autofinders but I would have to travel to the Manchester area from Glasgow to collect it. That is a difference of £425 so how much should I try to get off the local dealer? £100 to start? He is trying to sell Lifeshine for £295 but I'm not convinced it's value for money. Nearly there with my order!

Put the shine stuff on yourself - you can buy it on ebay for £40 or thereabouts and it's not that hard.

I hope you mean £12,400 not £1240!

Autofinders are in Derbyshire, not Manchester. Bit further from Glasgow!
