A bit off a long shot, but just a question or two.  I want to do this to my car, im wondering is it just the outside off the grill thats sprayed black or all off it including the origianal black plastic grill fins??

 

and secondly, is there a specific black paint code for the job in hand?

I just used vinyl mate and just did the chrome bits

Looking to do the grill on the VRS, I've bought a spare so can do it with the old one still in place.

Can so,eome tell me where's best to get the paint from. Most likely going to go with black (car is race blue) but I only want a satin/more Matt finish. Does the paint and lacquer come in satin finish?
