When fitting the Kenlowe HotStart to my vRS, I made a life-size wooden dummy of the components to test for fit. It was very good for eliminating locations which looked like they might work, but turned out to be the wrong shape.

There is an auction for one currently, the ones I have seen were from a company at a buy it now price of 79 pounds.

Not seen anything of it for ages, but you used to be able to get something that was basically extra washer hose that you could then wrap round one of the radiator hoses. Admittedly not instant from a cold start but could still prove useful.
