Back seat belt

Featured Replies

Hi,

I found a mismatch on my back seat. While i try to put the child seat, i realized the belt is twisted too much.

Then i found that the plugging on both side is different. Is that normal? I can not belive it could rotate somehow, there is no space for the belt.

Any idea? How can rotate back?

Looks like the belt got twisted around inside the buckle - happened on one of mine too. Bit of a faff to fix.

My car was the same - just on the front passenger seat rather than a rear.

I managed to fold it back on itself and get it the right way around. There was a crimp in it for a day but the material went back into shape.

How it got that way or managed to twist, I have no idea. At first I thought it must have twisted on the belt roller/tensioner - but that was perfectly smooth. PlusI had pulled the belt out all the way and there was no sign of a twist.

Does this help?
