EGR sensor number 2

Featured Replies

Hi,

recently, i drove 180 km/h on highway and my car just slows down to 120 km/h and ofcourse yellow signal aperas on dashboard. The one with 2 curved lines.

First i went to get diagnostic and the guy said EGR valve isnt working properly. That i have to replace it. I bought new one and get it replaced but NOTHING IS CHANGED (except i spend money). Now few days ago i went again on diagnostic and got this:

1 fault Found

7343 - Egr sensor 2

P0407 00 - Signal too Low

Now, my question is, because my mechanic and guy at specialised skoda servis says one thing (that 3 sensors are separated from egr valve itself) and guy at dyagnosis and one post on internet says other thing (that inside EGR are 2 sensors),so my question is: Is it true that EGR valve, part itself hasnt got and sensor and that 3 sensors are at the en of some pipe that is going from or to Egr valve?

this is link of part that im talking about, please help

If it's a common rail Diesel engine then both sensor 1 and sensor 2 are part of and are located within the egr assembly on the back of the engine.
