Final update I hope.

I decided to take my car to my normal garage and ask them to flush the matrix for me. I felt they would be able to sort it quicker and better than I could.

Net result is after a very good and intense flushing including a stream pipe, I have lots of heat, in fact it's too warm ????????

Watch us have a mild winter now.

Hum, I hope that "too warm" comment is only because you are not used to having some heat available, not too late to try your hand at replacing that temperature flap motor - if it comes down to that!

Seriously though, I'd guess that if your temperature control is U/S you could still survive during winter time, it is just in high summer that I found that it had become unbearable.

No,so far,the heat settings are all working fine, just not used to having a heater that works. Just turned it down enough to make it comfortable.

Will keep an eye on it though.
