It's no secret the Fabia is a high car and needs lowering from standard and that's most of you with lowered Monte Carlo's and vrs's I'm stuck with standard elegance night.

DPM performance is two minutes down the road and can sort me out with a set of adjustable coilovers for a little more than it's going to cost for a set of H&R springs.

I've been undecided for a long time but looking over the project section showing other Fabias lower than the springs offer and they look great!

You get what you pay for and a set of decent coilovers. H&R/vogtland/KW etc are around 550-1000 so

If your only spending 200 ish then I would go for springs because I would think (but I could be wrong) that coilovers for that price will ride terribly. I've lowered my VRS fabia and Octavia with H&R springs and they are very nice. Alternatively go with koni fsd shocks all round and some good springs. H&R, vogtland, eibach etc.

Well it's done.
I've sourced a set of Bilstein B14's. I really wanted cheap jom coilovers since I could justify the price of £160 for them rather than £140 for springs even though I knew it would kill the ride.

Hopefully the B14's improve the ride and are better than Joms! Better be for the bloody price :D

Hey @hutchysrs50
How was the ride after installing the B14's? :)
