H&R Monotube coilovers - Mk2 Octavia (plus Golf V, A3, etc)

Featured Replies

I had half an idea to get these back on the car when I do a full refresh but I'd rather have the funds at the moment.

They are in full working order, having been dyno tested at Bilstein in Leicester. Were fitted to my car for approx 15k miles at the very most.

They go plenty low enough for me and will go even lower (I ran them at halfway). Cosmetically a bit scruffy - ie they need a clean and the paint has split a bit on rear springs, but apart from that they are as you'd expect for a set of used coilovers. They are boxed so you can arrange your own courier or you can collect them from me in Leicester at your convenience. They come with the pair of C spanners and the print out from Bilstein's dyno, if you can decipher it. You will need to buy new top nuts to secure the top mount to the strut.

I want £360 for these - they are quite pricey new (c. £1000)

Still for sale. I can clean them up but they'll still work the same.

Could be interested in these, how does the ride compare in terms of comfort to the standard MK2 VRS setup?   (assuming yours is a VRS?)

Cheers!
