Just a quick thought on the date, the intention seemed to be to run one at a northern venue and one at AMD on the same day but the NW meet at the cat and fiddle is on the 29th April.

I had a thought about someone doing both RR Days, and using this as a controlling datum to compare figures from both roads, what about if we got a volunteer who was willing to do this as it will involve them doing a lot of driving and expense, everyone on the two RR days who runs on the rollers puts say

The suggestion for the 29th April following statement of the Cat & Fiddle meet on that date, was done to try and provoke some interest in getting this up and running, as it seems to be going nowhere fast.

Could the RR day at the northern venue count as that meet on the 29th ???

Walkie has stated that AMD are up for it, so that should not be a problem, but the other sites will have to be sorted by locals to that venue.

There does not really need to be anyone driving about as a volunteer as all results can be posted on the forum at the end of the RR day. That would only take a few moments.

Its seems that if nothing is deceided soon regarding a date, this will just go on and on, and just die a death, which would be a shame in view of the number of names already showing a positive interest.

Ive contacted JBS thay will have their Rolling Road working in around 2/3 weeks. They are going to contact me with a date and a price and I will organise those wanting to attend JBS.

Dates ive suggested are - Sun 14 May / Sun 21 May / Sat or Sun 17, 18 June or 24, 25 June

forgot to say, they would like to know what cars people have as they can then group like cars together so they don't have to keep setting up the rolling road for a different car each run if you know what i mean.

they would like to do for example

all fabia's then all octavia's, then all superbs and lastly all 'other' cars

So how many other cars will be in the 300bhp RWD group then

300bhp is all well and good phil but when your car weighs approx. 14.8 tonne it needs a lot of power
