Just to let you know this is actually available for anyone ordering in Ireland.  Having seen it now available on the UK I contacted the dealer out of curiosity to see if it was available to order as an option over here.  €156 for the heated wheel or €262 for heated plus paddles.  I know its not a big deal for most but its certainly one of those 'nice to have' options and one I also wanted so I've added it (paddles plus heated) to my order

 

It is not on the configurator so always double check what options are actually available when ordering.  Don't assume the configurator is accurate as it can even vary a lot compared to the dealer ordering system,!

Was only thinking about that this week heading in to work at 4 am. My buddy has it in his Passat & it would be a lovely addition to have to add with my heated Seats. I was cursing him that he had it & I didn't. I would definitely spec it if I was going again & I think it's fairly reasonable price too. We're you able to add it retrospectively to your order??

Yes, I was still able to add it.  I do a lot of early cold winter starts so worth it for that money.

Does anyone know if the heated wheel is available as an aftermarket accessory please?
