Just been sent these taken minutes ago, I would have a sense of humour failure if that was my bike and I came back and found this!

I see cars shafting bikes a fair bit and the normal laziest scum who park in bike parking when empty spaces right by them on a daily basis. Anyone got any more pics of such ignorance?

Thats not even funny is it.

Unless its his mate or somethin?

What a knob rot.

Could plod do anything about that?

Not 'would' I think we know the answer there.

Typical Skoda Driver........................... :x

:wait: .........Maybe not :giggle:

I'd just ride the bike out... Over the bonnet and roof!

And over the driver too when he comes back....

Er, has it occurred to you guys that the biker has used an entire cage space?

I agree even if there was no bike spaces you should park in the middle of the bay and buy a ticket as you are using a parking space therefore a ticket is a requirement. Me, I would find a space somewhere where no ticket is required. :D

Yeah? And?

Yeah? And?

It may not defend the cager's actions, but the biker is hardly blameless here.

If there are no dedicated M/C spaces why wouldn't he/she use a single car space?

Hes as much right to be there as a car has. Just because hes on a smaller vehicle doesn't mean hes no right to park there.

Ive done it plenty of times if theres no better place.

When I park in a pay and display I buy a ticket so have as much right to a full space as anyone else paying to use the car park. I will often find that I am joining or joined by other bikes with 3 or 4 to the same space so the car park owner actually profits from this and more spaces are available to drivers. The driver in the OP is just a ****.

It's one of 2 free carparks in the town out of about 15, no motorcycle spaces in the entire town anywhere. Parking on pavements etc results in fairly swift enforcement from the fat red coats who are contracted to do the enforcement. Possibility they both work in the same place and know each other exists, I honestly do not know, but either way the Octavia has still parked like an utter knob for other vehicles especially those opposite the thick prat.

Best way to park in that town on a bike if you are not going to be all day, is to put it out of the way on a pavement and remove your number plate   :notme:

If they were mates they would put the bike in along the space and the car pulled up to it, wouldn't they?

Your point? If there is a dedicated bike parking bay then that's the best place for it, but if not, park in a regular spot.

Parking right up by the curb is a novice mistake, as it's too easy for people to miss you there - far better to park further back and off to one side so two bikes can fit. There's nothing wrong with parking in a car spot though - you use the same amount of space whether you happen to be on two wheels or four.

It may not defend the cager's actions, but the biker is hardly blameless here.

What blame do you think they should face?

Bike should always be parked to the outside end of the space, not the kerb, so that a car driver might see bike and hopefully not dive into a seemingly empty space and skittle the bike.

Also stops a prattish car driver parking where the one above did, 'cos he can't get his nose in the space. Erse!

I think the bike potentially parked near the bollard in order to get a lock round it - yes you can slip it off the top but the lock would still be through the wheel.

Not sure why else they'd park so close to it!

Yes, if you look at the rear wheel you can see the chain around it  so that is why it is parked next to the bollard.
