Hi all ....just wandering if anyone has had to have the injector wiring loom replaced on their car and if so ....what were the symptoms that led to it needing to be replaced?

Ran a VCDS test on a mates A4 and that had a intermittent miss, VCDS pointed out the cylinder affected with the fault code, new loom installed and cleared the fault code and no more issues. As far as I'm aware the insulation breaks down with the heat cycle from the engine.

Mine has a terrible idle at warm up and then when up to temp a slight miss but no fault codes ... It's under warranty and the guy I bought it off reckons it will be the injector wiring loom
