Hi All,

I am thinking of upgrading my Bolero head unit to an Amundsen AAN800002 what do people think of the unit?

Basically, I want Sat Nav.  

Also I can't work out if this unit has DAB

Also is the processor faster in the Amundsen.  I find even with a very fast sd card the Bolero is so slow its unusable 

The unit you're asking about is the older Amundsen unit, so it won't have DAB. As to whether it's faster than the Bolero is unknown, because it depends on the age, make and firmware of your Bolero really.  HArd to say.

If you went for the newer Amundsen Plus unit then you might get one with DAB, but you'd have to be sure the actual unit you're buying is DAB equipped before parting with hard earned. Also, you'd need a new DAB antenna.
