The side badges are not original. They are the same as the one on the back obviously without the Fabia above it. The Xenons are the best option that I could have bought. I see many on the forum think at

Superdan, here's how to fit them.

!) Firstly, make sure the door handles are METICULOUSLY clean with Thinners. Don't be tempted to use anything else. ALL waxes & contamination must be removed completely.

2) Remove the film backing from the first handle and use Bostik contact adhesive (not too much) to assist in the bonding. The sticky pad WILL NOT last and after a visit to the jetwash, will fall off. It's difficult to buy them seperately.

3) Allow the adhesive to 'go off' for about 1 minute.

4) Holding the cover at the edges, carefully place the cover onto the handle and apply a little pressure. It will remain pliable for a couple of minutes so I used a little insulation tape to wrap around the handle while it dried completely (about 1 hour).

5) Repeat process around car.

6) After about 1 hour, remove the insulation tape and hey presto. chrome handles.

7) finish off with a little chrome polish.

Please bear in mind that the manufacturers say that this process must be done in a temperature of approx 18 degrees Centigrade (Summer) or a heated garage. I did this outdoors 2 weeks ago. The contact adhesive really works.

Good luck.

Chris' date=' Yet to fit the Brace and the intake. Might do that tomorrow and when it's finished I will post some piccies. I will probably match the green paint from the calipers to finish the brace off properley. I have a Skoda motorsport sticker in the right bottom corner of the rear window. I think that you may see it in this picture attached.

But the rear wiper covers it from this angle cos it's only the little one.

P.S - Your car looks extremely Black. :D Very nice indeed. That Swissol looks the business.

Jon.

Jon,

My handle covers came loose so I bought some industrial strength double sided tape fro B&Q. They are well and truly stuck now. BUT, crucially they will still come off in the future if I need to. Where were your pics taken?

Chris, there's a little village just up the road from me called Wilton, very picture esque. I didn't share the moment with the forum in all it's glory today. When I had finished the last picture (view from the side) I was standing on a slightly raised bank. When I jumped on I noticed the leaves were quite deep were they had been blown to the roadside. So, when I jumped off at the end, I deliberately missed the leaves and went ANKLE DEEP in mud.  I should have taken a picture but was sooooo mad at the time.Got mud on my carpets for the way home.

Just a thought but you might want to blank out your number plates. You never know who's looking.

Nice, and you picked the best colour too :D:thumbup:

I'm envious........ I wanted silver but wouldn't wait 3 - 4 months. So I have.... black.

Looking very good.
