Rear heated seat control module?

Featured Replies

Hi everybody, where is the control module for the rear heated seats located?  I know the front one is under the passenger seat but I've failed to find the rear one.

Well that didn't work out so well, I thought I knew where the control module for the front seat was but its not there!! My two front seats have stopped working indicating a module fault, parts seems to be widely available but does anybody know where they are in the car, Mines mid 2010 and there seems to be a change in the system around then.

I would be looking under the seat for that.
Not on the floor as your Bluetooth module is found but actually attached to the underside of the seat base.
Maybe have to remove seat or at least unbolt and tilt reerwards.

Remember to disconnect battery and leave for a while if unplugging any conection under seat due to airbag system.

Have you had it scanned to confirm fault?

That's where I was led to believe it was but had a good look around and can't find it.  My fronts have stopped working and I had planned to swap over the rear one to see what happens. I hope to get it scanned tomorrow.

Look at post 5 and 6

And also this post 6  It says it doesnt come up on vcds scan and are defo under the frame of the seats maybe try the passenger side as the octavias are.

I will try and have a looksy tomorrow when I am servicing it

DELBOY, thanks for the help, those posts confirm what I thought. Please let me know if you can find where it is.

I see you are in Glasgow, I drove through Glasgow and Edinburgh a few times and never saw many Superbs.
