O 2 SENSORS!!!!

Featured Replies

Well i thankfully picked up my car from the dealers today

Its been in since Monday having the wiring replaced from the sensors to the ECU.

They have done a good job but unfortunately couldnt quite finish it because they could not get hold of any O2 sensors.

So will that be the next thing there is a shortage of................. :(

At least all the work was done under warranty and they will replace the sensor once a new one arrives.

At last i could get rid of the diesel Pug 406 estate I have been driving absolutely NO power and i hate the lamps and windscreen wipers being automatic, I think i can decide for myself when to put them on. :?

Oh and another thing i noticed , under heavy breaking the hazard lights would come on.....is that supposed to happen!!!!!!!!!

Happy motoring

I think the latest Peugeots automatically put the hazards lights on under REAL heavy braking (i.e. emergency braking).

Definately part of the spec for the 307 SW anyway.

How hard were you braking :?:

Cheers.

Adrian.

Yep, that's a new Peugeot feature, automatically putting the hazards on if you break hard. One of the features that actually put me off a peugeot as I wasn't sure it could be trusted under heavy 'normal' breaking, your comment seems to prove this !

I didnt actually think that hard

perhaps just too used to the uprated ones on the vRS

Those things definetly put me off a PUG

and was looking forward to see what the new 180 206 can do though

But do the brake lights come on too? Nothing Peugeot does surprises me.

O
