So my octavia VRS finally goes on Monday when i pick up my new Superb Sportline.

 

Car ordered:

 

Superb Sportline 2.0 diesel DSG in moon white.

few extras of heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, electric tail gate, bluetooth plus with wireless charging and couple of other little bits.

 

Cant wait to pick it up on monday, pics will follow as soon as i can.

You're going to appreciate the step up, I came from an Octavia VRS too, the difference in feel and finish is very noticeable...

Congratulations, however, where is "Sport" in diesel engine ???

I noticed a big difference during my 20 minute test drive so I am really looking forward to getting the Superb and I love my VRS.

I think he means that a diesel engine car should not be called Sport.

I wonder if VAG cheated on the emissions on that model as well?  

Diesel is in serious trouble as a fuel for cars.

London had a pollution warning issued by the Mayor today, and the press / media are all going on and on about diesel vehicles being the main cause.

I appreciate heavy goods vehicles need diesel engines, although I think they will increasingly be hit by pollution / congestion zone charges in our cities, but diesel cars are likely to be taxed off the roads very soon.

I've always preferred petrol (personal choice rather than being on an emissions high horse crusade) but I think electric vehicles will start to increase exponentially very soon. They are the way forward.

Got the roof wrapped in high gloss black so let me know what you think.

splendid car, mate. I'm getting my sportline in the end of January and I'm making already two mods: as well a shiny black roof and black dimming to all rear windscreens - the factory dimming is too weak for me.
