Service station in/near Manchester

Featured Replies

Quick question :)

I need to do 1st service - 20k miles or 2 years - where in Manchester - or in close distance - can I do it before Christmas ? Or before New Year. Weekend preferred ;)

But I have few requirements ;)

1) time slot - it's 2h'ish job so I don't want to leave my car for two days - and I don't want to waste time driving 2x back and forth :(

2) I want to use my supplies - oil and all filters.

3) I need to see my car all the time.

Of course it needs to be Skoda (approved) service station - not independent - for FSH.

TIA

You don't have to take it to a Skoda agent. You could use a trusted independent (infinitely preferable!) as long as they are VAT registered and use genuine parts. There's at least 3 in Manchester (Google is your friend). Your warranty would not be affected.

I always use my local indy 'cos I trust them. I'd prefer to see a FSH from a VAG specialist indy rather than a main dealer.

Agreed but " Goodwill " might be affected further down the line.  A lot can be said for " Full Main Dealer Serviced "  Turbo fails in 4 years, Goodwill might help with the cost

Each to his/her own.

Can Skoda Dealer/Service Station refuse to use my oil and filters - high quality and with correct spec? They told me that they can't as it would cancel warranty ?!?!?!
