Go On Persuade me...

I'm currently debating with myself whether I should treat my car to some Eibach springs or not.

Basically I have about

Look down the back of the sofa for the extra pennies, and get the Jabba anti roll bar instead.

do it, you only live once!

I agree with Shifty, unless you have very smooth roads around where you live, the rear ARB will be much more user friendly IMO, plus it's much cheaper to have it fitted and you won't risk getting your tracking and general wheel alignment messed up. Nearly every lowering spring I've encountered (quite a lot!) transmits a certain amount of harshness to the body shell when encountering ruts in the road, small speed humps and some make it even uncomfortable going over raised painted lines in the road (plus cat's eyes).

Just my opinion mind, from years of expensive experience - and I await the onslaught of 'bah humbugs' from Eibach fans.

SO GOING ON ABOUT THE ARB !!!! I CAN'T AFFORD IT !!!

Hmm - that might not be such a bad idea !?!? I have too many kids as it is :D

I only got my fabia last week , and it is my birthday next month , so the arb is on the list , the war office says she will consider it , I can only have eibachs if I sell the child. mmmmmmmmm. Its worth considering !

Bah Humbug :p Although saying that, I had the matching dampers too which may have an effect.... :D

Sell a testicle or something.

What's the going rate these days? :D

Chris

Eibach's will most likely increase your insurance as will the arb (I guess it's a MOD after all). They will make it handle abit better and lower it abit but for best results add the dampers too.

ARB is cheaper and read reviews by shift and the others on how good it is.

Any mods will invalidate for warrenty.

Non car related? Why not spend the money and a track day?

Just 'testing the waters' but.......

Personally, I'd do a 'Locke' (Lost; series II) and sell a kidney.

For that type of money get on the Jabba ARB GB, to improve handling.

Wait until you can afford the suspension upgrade to springs and dampers.

Otherwise, you've got to ****-about twice.

John. :)

Just sell your soul on www.satan.com

The Jabbasport ARB is the best 'handling' mod you can do for
