Dvd player Integrated Headrests

Featured Replies

Has anyone sourced a driver/passenger headrest with discreet integrated dvd players the rear passengers for the superb 3? Any recommendations? I know nothing about them so I might be clueless in saying I dont want any cables or wires exposed. There will be three girls in the back so I need two dvd players. And probably earphone jacks....

I have black leather seats. Is there a power source that can be tapped into internally in the seats? Or will it just be a case that when in use cables will have to be exposed?

Thanks

Nothing I know of in the seats but there is a 12V socket in the rear console. You would have to find a way of feeding the power inside the seats up to the head restraints. I only have one 'monkey' in the back and he uses the Skoda tablet mount which isn't an option with three in the back.

The Nextbase system has good write-ups and is crash tested too.

Think I would use tablets with a headrest mount, more versatile than a DVD player.

They can play games also.

I'd also be wary of changing the headrests for non Skoda ones. They might not offer proper whiplash protection.
