I'd just like to say thankyou Mike you couldn't have done any more for me today. Top fella and very knowledgeable. You know your stuff! Mike fitted my Londoncolour hid kit and coded the car so no bulb errors pop up. He also scanned the car for me for codes and changed a few settings using vdcs. Lovely bloke and i must say very refreshing to meet a fella who only wants to help. He even made me a brew as well!! Lights are great a lot better than halogens. Nice to meet you and Kim best of Briskoda.

Mike, beg to differ, there is one blue in the Skoda range which is/was even better than Race Blue... Nightfire Blue on the Superb!

Saw it in a showroom but absolutely no way of getting my car delivered with it. Was absolutely gutted, it's a slightly darker, but much deeper hue.

I had a Race Blue Octavia a few years ago and yes it is a wonderful colour.  It was then a Vrs exclusive colour which made it quite an exclusive colour. But it is now a common colour and it's available on every trim level and most models  so the colour is quite common.

 

Meteor grey is at the moment only available on the MKIII Octavia Vrs and the Fabia MKII Monte Carlo. No dout, one day it will go the same way as the Blue..................Hopefully not

I must admit here, Race blue is a lovely colour. But, i will agree it's very common now. My son bought my tdi vrs off me a month or so ago and that was in race blue. I then sold my Leon FR and started to look for an Octavia. I didn't want black again as that's what colour the leon was. I really didn't want a race blue one basically just so it was different from my sons. Trying to find an Octavia vrs not in race blue was quite difficult near me. This one turned up not too far from me. Perfect car just what i was looking for. It was race blue!! It's not a problem though i do like the colour. It just looks a bit odd at our house now with two Octavias exactly the same.....

You trying to say something there meaty? I'd rather have two Race Blue Octys than the two Cappuccino Beige Octys that are on my drive right now LOL !
