Auto-folding wing mirrors

I've done a search ('folding', 'retracting' etc) on this topic, because I'm certain it's come up in the forum - and I've seen it - before, so apologies if this post is unnecessary.

I mentioned in a recent post that my local (France) garage - non-Skoda specialist - had had some difficulty resetting the computer, after a minor service and I wonder whether this is why I find that my wing mirrors now no longer fold back against the car, on pressing the key central locking button for a couple of seconds, as they used to do.

I've had a look at the MFD options, but not been able to bring this little feature back;  it's not a life-changer, but I did like it!

Any thoughts very welcome.

Hi Paul. If you google 'reset yeti mirrors' you will find some earlier discussions. It is corrected by resetting the windows closing by your remote basically.

Hope that fixes it for you.

Sorry, but you do not use the remote, but the switches on the door.

Close each window, hold switch up until you hear a click. Do the same for each window,

As graham above says, it must be done with the window switches, but just a little clarification, I think you must close the window AND CONTINUE TO HOLD THE SWITCH UP until you hear it click. Repeat for each window.

So doing all this window resetting malarky also resets the folding mirrors ?

Yes, but when the window is closed with the door switch it must then be released and then held up again for about 4 seconds to reset the auto close that will also enable the mirrors to be folded on a + 2 seconds press on the fob (only if you have electric folding mirrors of course).
