It was time to change the car.   I finally convinced She Who Must Be Obeyed to take a look at the Octavia.   We were both very impressed and I recently took delivery of a Race Blue VRS 4x4 DSG.   We both absolutely love the car.   I have picked up so many tips from this forum so many thanks to you all for easing my transition to the Octavia.

The other day SWMBO said "If you win the lottery, I'd like you to buy me another Octavia VRS, I loved that car" :D :D

My response was, "Don't worry beautiful I'll buy you the Octavia RS6, you'll love that one" :D :D

She knew it wasn't a Skoda I was talking about :D
