I am looking for a part, no to follow soon, 05 Octy 1.9tdi classic,

 

the best way to describe it is the interior door handle on the drivers side, at has holes in it for the electric window switches, but mine only takes two as I have no rear elec windows only front.

 

just the handle is all I am looking for, and am struggling to find it with only the single slot for switches.

 

what happened to it was I was getting into the car and the clips broke off so its constantly loose.

 

I have been on to breakers all over Ireland and they always say yes we have it, but of course its for four switches when I arrive,

 

any help would be very much appreciated.

Buy it from Skoda and the switches come separate, just pop the switches out of your old handle and clip into the new one

The part number you need for the upper bit of the handle that you need, with cutouts from just front electric windows is 1Z2 867 162 E 47 H, and is priced at £20.64 + vat, or £24. 77 including vat

Cheers for your reply, now that you have given me the correct part number, I can go to the local Skoda dealer and order, hopefully there open between Xmas and the new year.

 

The part number I took from my damaged piece, E 47 H Is just A on mine,

If you had approached a Skoda dealer in the first instance they would have given you all the info you required!
