OEM Brembo pads?

Featured Replies

Looking to replace my yellowstuff pads in my Taroxs for a more road friendly pad. Not saying there bad, just that the pads need a fair bit of heat in them to get them biting hard.

I've seen I can get the standard Brembo pads for £38 on eurocarparts (much cheaper through work) and was seeing if anyone is running this compound and what are your thoughts?

Cheers.

Brembo pads are great, use them all the time.

yeah i use brembo pads too and have always been fine :) i'm sure whatever pads you use in those monsters will be enough to stop the car :P

Cheers for that. I've had both feet on the pedal to slow down in a emergency stop before first thing in the morning at -6 lol.

The tarox calipers I have don't have many pad options at all, however after a bit of research I've discovered the G wagon uses pretty much the same pad design so opens up a few more choices.

At -6OC your choice of tyre (winter, all-season or summers) will make a big difference.

I use Brembo discs and pads in mine aswell, they seem pretty good to be fair. been in over a year now and the discs look relatively new. would recommend them for sure.
