Hi people,

Am paying a visit to the UK with my wifey & wish to meet up with like minded Skoda owners who are passionate about their cars. Am driving a humble 1.4 8v Fabia here and with recent help from Denis aka DGW, I have come to admire this forum a lot especially as a source of information for my car.

Tentatively am arriving @ Heathrow on the 31st Oct, spend the weekend getting used to the weather, then heading out to Paris for 2 to 3 days to see a supplier. Will then head back to London, get up to Sheffield to see me old school, head down to Doncaster to see JHM Butt for some parts. After that we are quite free & easy............any meets ard this period ?? I expect to leave on the 23rd...... :cheers:

I think Denis lives somerwhere a bit off your proposed route.. but I am sure there will be a meet or 2 in the offing..

Tavia4x4 is a good man to contact about meets am sure he can rustle something up.. sheffield maybe?

23rd? :( - That's ironic as there's a big meet being planned in East Anglia on that day... If only you could delay the trip back for a couple of days...

the slalom would be a good meet.. not that far from sheffield. and many are already going!

Cant do that guys..........tickets been booked........moreover wifey's got to be back to work on the 26th........we need some time to recover too !!
