Featured Replies

Your dealer? I have one on my Engine Cover

IMO I think they dont look good compared to the skoda badge.

^ Second to that. Are you ashamed of buying Skoda?

I 3rd that. The Skoda badge looks great. The other one looks as though you bought it from Halfords. ;)

Depending on what colour your car is, the matt black engine cover Skoda badge might look good on the back of the car. I had a black VW roundel on the back of my black Golf (after some little git nicked the chrome one, although I can't see anyone stealing a Skud badge somehow) and it looked okay. Not sure what would be needed to make the engine cover badge fit the boot lid of the car but it may look good on a mean looking black car. Worth a try, I don't expect they cost very much and if it looks pants you can just stick the badge on ebay.

Each to there own.

And stop with this 'are you ashamed of buying a Skoda' ******

Anyway I am off out to add more Skoda badges to my car.

PM Mas - i bought 1 of these for my grille and 1 for the steering wheel

I just removed my rear badge as I'm not a huge fan of the winged arrow device (especially in green!) and I thought it looked out of place on the back of the car, but the one on the front has remained, as I'm not ashamed of the heritage of my car.

Sort of staying on topic, how easy is it to change the steering wheel's badge? Mine is very slightly tarnished on the shiny surround bit and I wouldn't mind a replacement if it wasn't heaps of hassle.

well i was told to remove the origional and stick the new 1 in its place - i spent ages trying to get the standard 1 off, it happens to be syuck on and there's a plastic spike in the centre which is a bugger to get off.

I finally managed then when i lighned the carbon 1 up it was too small, i then restuck the standard 1 and stuck the carbon 1 on top - PERFECT fit

I stuck mine on top of the old one too. Fits perfectly. Here's a spare:

I've got four of them (can also be used as wheel centres) if anyone wants them for a few quid. Just PM.

Don't mean to hijack robbo's sales pitch. They were going to go on fleabay sometime this week if not.

Why does it have to be a problem to everyone when some1 wants a new badge on there car???

If i was ashamed of owning a skoda i wouldnt spend 12 grand on one. I just want my car to stand out ever so slighty, so that its different to the same as every other nice top class fabia VRS.

Yeah sorry mate. I'll only sell the whole set rather than individually so I don't step on anyones toes

I got some cos my wheel hub ones are coming off. Didnt realise they are designed to go straight on top, so need to take them metal skoda ones off sometime and put them on. Reckon they'll look good on the wheels, but wouldnt change the one on the bonnet.
