Ive a Skoda "swing" unit with a BT unit bolted under my seat. (no GPS)

My other Superb has an Amundsen+ unit with (presumably) the BT unit bolted to the back (cos theres no unit on the floor) it runs satnav without cd or sd card.

I want to either swap the units or get a swing to fit in place of the Amundsen

ive hd the flu so please make it idiot proof.... :p

Even if you're full of flu you can use the search function to find your old threads...

You'll need to:

- switch the headunits

- add a GPS antenna in your superb for the newly fitted Amundsen+

- remove the BT module from your superb (assuming the Amundsen+ has it built in)

- buy the correct BT retrofit loom and put the BT module in your other superb

- get the entire lot coded by someone with VCDS

Simples.

The Amundsen has the BT built into the Unit, so it doesn't come with a separate Bluetooth module. If you replace the Amundsen with the Swing you will have no BT, unless you also move the BT Unit. In addition you will also have to add a new Aerial and run some now wiring from the BT Unit to the Radio etc.

so the amundsen less its BT (removed) wont work with my BT (floor unt)?

No, the Amundsen has its BT built in - it is an integral part of the unit.

If you move the Swing to another car, you will have to move the floor BT unit so that other car will get BT as well.
