Evening everyone.

 

Firstly Ive got an Octavia vRS 2.0 Diese, 2008.

 

Last night when reversing on to the drive I noticed my reversing lights turned off.

So I pulled forward and tried it again... Off they went. Again I tried it but holding the Gear lever in postion (incase it was just breaking contact with the switch). Samething.

So tonight I tried again, but noticed that the lights are on when I select reverse, as soon as I move they go out. Stop, they come back on?

 

Has anyone experienced this before?

 

Its worth mentioning (possibly related?), I think I have an ABS Sensor issue (ABS, ESP & Tyre Pressure Lights all come on/off).

The wire to the switch may be broken and making intermittent connection, separating when going backwards.
