Hi Guys and Gals

My name is Mick live in dublin Ireland.

Finally received my new Octavia vRS yesterday after having ordered it the first week of October.

A friend recommended this forum to me so I said I would join on his advice.

Loving the car so far but wont get to give it a proper drive until the weekend!????.

My previous cars were Astra, Accord Euro R, and finally then moved to the Vag group with the passat Mk5.5 and then the Mk6.

Always had my eye on the Octavia vRS and now that I finally got a brand new 1 im very happy ????.

Look forward to reading through the forums and posting a few topics myself.

Hi Mick, welcome along :hi: .  We were just commenting on here a few days ago that there seems to be a huge number of Irish drivers joining, which is always great to see :)  Congrats on your new vRS.  There are local meets in the Dublin area sometimes so keep an eye out for those in the regional events section.

Welcome along Mick, hope you enjoy the vRS. There's a good Irish contingent growing here on the forum.

What colour did you get it in?? Don't forget to put up photos of it in the Octavia 3 forum, Postimage.org is my own personal preference for uploading photos to the site.

You mentioned the meets in Dublin, funnily enough Pilsen Auto the place I ordered the car had a vRS day the day before and they are planning on doing a few more so I will be going to them.

Got it in race blue with the black pack I was trying to figure out how to upload pictures but didnt know how.

Ill try that site you mentioned.

That's exactly it Mick, there's several options available, you'll want to copy the hotlink for forums.

And nice choice on the colour, it's the exact same as mine
